What is Lurking Giants?
Lurking Giants is an asymmetrical analog-horror game on Roblox by ULTRA works. Each round one player becomes a giant that spawns from a TV, while up to 15 survivors scatter across the map. The night runs from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM, and the survivors win only by reaching sunrise alive.
How do you play Lurking Giants?
One player takes the giant, everyone else survives. As a survivor you move with WASD, sprint on E, and relocate between hiding spots each time a visibility pulse lights you up. As the giant you hunt with a two-button kit — Attack on Q and Haunt on G. Full walkthrough in our beginner guide.
How do you survive in Lurking Giants?
Treat every visibility pulse as your cue to move: it reveals every survivor for a moment, so break line of sight the instant it fades and never camp one hiding spot. Stay near cover, save your sprint for chases, and read the map before the giant reads you. The survival guide has the full playbook.
Are there Lurking Giants codes?
No. Lurking Giants has no working codes and no redemption box in the game as of July 2026, so any list promising rewards is invented. The widely reposted "SORRYFORDELAY" code is a fabrication that redeems nothing. Check the current status on the codes page.
How many giants are there?
Two are playable right now: Locust, the free default giant, and Guilt, a premium unlock bought with in-game coins. Both share the same Attack-and-Haunt kit, and no ability has published numbers yet. A new giant is confirmed for the 2026 VERITY rework, though its name and abilities stay unpublished. Browse the full roster.
How do you unlock Guilt?
Guilt is a coin-only unlock from the in-game Store, with community guides estimating the price at roughly 7,000 coins — treat that as a community figure, not an official one. You earn coins by surviving nights and by kills, and there is no Robux or code shortcut. See how to unlock Guilt.
How many maps does Lurking Giants have?
Two maps are in rotation. Forest is open and giant-favoured, giving the hunter long sightlines with little cover, while City is vertical and survivor-favoured, rewarding survivors who climb to escape the hunter below. The VERITY rework is set to overhaul the existing maps, but no brand-new map has been confirmed. See the maps guide.
Is Lurking Giants free?
Yes. Lurking Giants is free to play on Roblox, so you can join a full lobby of up to 16 players without spending anything. Optional game passes and coin-based unlocks like the Guilt giant exist, but every core round — hiding, hunting, and racing to sunrise — costs nothing.
Does Lurking Giants have VR support?
Not yet. VR and controller support are officially announced as "coming soon", but neither is live in Lurking Giants and no binding layout has been published. For now every survivor and giant plays on keyboard and mouse — WASD to move, E to sprint, and Q and G for the giant kit.
